It's been too long since I've submitted a damsel in distress piece.

So, anyway, I went out this weekend and I got the Orange Box for 360, and I instantly fell in love with Portal. I beat it in two and half hours, and wished it was so much longer than the twenty or so levels it gives you. But then again, fifty more levels or even five hundred more levels wouldn't have been enough either. I've never been a fan of puzzle games, but the quirky, deadpan sense of humor, the graphics, and the innovative idea of shooting yourself across the course by falling through an infinite time-space continuum was enough to win me over.

And, of course, the lovable Aperture Science Facility Weighted Companion Cube, seen here with the protagonist, Chell. He will never threaten to stab you, and always gives good advice.

So please, Chell, when you get loose and have used him to complete your objectives, don't incinerate him just because he was heavy when you had to scoot him to the button. He loves you, and will eat your cake with you.
